How do donations work? Who is your processor?

Project World Impact's credit card processor is TransNational Payments. You can receive a quote of processing costs before registering by contacting Carolyn Irwin at CIrwin@gotnp.com.

Project World Impact takes no percentage of donations per transaction, and Transnational passes on actual interchange to you without profit to their company to keep as much money in nonprofit work as possible. We hope that it will benefit you by increasing the funds received per donation.

Nonprofits can choose to receive donations through their current merchant account via TransNational's gateway, or connect directly to PayPal's gateway. If you don't currently have a merchant account set up, and would like to take advantage of the special low rates offered to nonprofits that partner with PWI, you can contact TransNational directly to set this up.

How did PWI get started?

The vision for PWI was born when our founder and CEO, Chris Lesner, decided to apply his extensive marketing expertise to helping nonprofits raise money and gain more visibility.

Before launching PWI, Chris helped start a successful marketing company with dozens of clients, including Chipotle, Chick-fil-A, Ralph Lauren, Audi, and other Fortune 500s. However, he realized that his nonprofit clients both large and small had a unique set of needs: more funding, more volunteers, and more visibility.

After being inspired by the needs of the nonprofits he encountered, Chris left his job and assembled the PWI team. Each team member at PWI is skilled, hard-working, and passionate about helping nonprofits connect with supporters and expand their impact.
