Avenues 12 Womens Recovery Houses

Alcoholism and addiction continue to wreak havoc within the female population and there are very few facilities that focus on assisting women to achieve and maintain sobriety. Avenues 12 is that essential bridge, providing the support and professional resources necessary for these women to create a new life, become functioning members of society again. Avenues12 has made a positive difference in our community since our inception six years ago. We have women returning to the workforce, continuing their college educations and returning to successful careers. We have reunited hundreds of mothers with their children and other family members. We have two beautiful homes located in the historic district near downtown Daytona Beach. Our “Newcomer House” is where their journey begins. After meeting the criteria necessary to move forward, they are relocated to the “Advanced House” which is 2 minutes from the first house. We have a beautiful 10 unit apartment building which is designed for affordable housing. The “Sober Living Apartments” will give recovering women a safe place to live and the necessary time to begin reunification with their children and other family members. This will allow them the opportunity to continue their education, while residing in a recovery-based environment for long term recovery needs.
