Our Mission

BAYCAT is a nonprofit social enterprise that educates, empowers and employs low-income urban youth coming primarily from the San Francisco Bay Area in the digital media arts. Our unique hybrid model includes an ACADEMY, STUDIO and PRODUCTIONS that strategically positions BAYCAT to address academic achievement gaps, job training, and economic development needs that are amplified by the digital divide.

Who We Are

Now in it's 10th year, BAYCAT has educated over 3,000 youth in the digital media arts, employed over 125 young adults, and internship is placing 88% of our graduates to media-related jobs. BAYCAT STUDIO clients include the SFPUC, UCSF, The San Francisco Foundation, Golden State Warriors, and most recently The 50 Fund, Super Bowl 50's nonprofit arm.
