Strengthen the local church by engaging and transforming the Hip-Hop community with the gospel.
Who We Are
We are convinced that the local church needs to be the primary initiator in a community to bring lasting social change, through the preaching and demonstration of the gospel. We are also convinced that the church operates most effectively when local men and women are serving. Through engaging, transforming and sending members of the Hip-Hop community, we want to supply the local church with passionate, Spirit-led servants.
Started in 2005, Break Free seeks to reach the Hip-Hop community. This community is generally made up of men, ages 18-35. This has been a historically difficult group for the church to engage. Break Free seeks to engage this group by authentically participating in the elements of Hip-Hop, with the hope of producing passionate disciples of Jesus Christ who will help lead their churches, families and communities.
