Serving the Community Since 1977 Thirty eight (38) years ago, our founder, Walter S. Jackson, had a dream of a community-based program that would offer addiction treatment services for the underserved Five Points community. Walter Jackson didn't just dream; he went to work. He organized the community, and gained support from a wide range of social investors to finance the services. He recruited a strong personnel staff that understood the challenges of addiction in a personal and professional way. He fulfilled a need for the community and—at the same time--realized his dream! That dream is still alive and has been sustained by community support, hard work, and sensitive, competent staff who are dedicated to those we serve. We enter each year with a renewed sense of purpose, commitment, and a touch of Walter's spirit. We continuously seek ways to improve services and implement new programs to meet the ever-changing needs of the community. It is with gratitude, appreciation, excitement, and anticipation that we look forward to the opportunity to serve you--this year and many more to come.
