Our Mission

The Carriers of Light is a non-profit, community organization founded in 2010 in the Chicago western suburbs that aims to be a center for Quranic learning, offering programs for all ages. Our main endeavor is a full-time Islamic school.

Who We Are

Carriers of Light full-time Islamic school welcomes students grade Pre-K through 6th who want to learn to read the Quran fluently, mastering pronunciation and tajwid, and memorize it entirely or in large portions, while maintaining regular review of previously memorized passages with excellent tajwid. Students continue their academic studies, meeting and exceeding the fundamentals for their grade level. This learning is done alongside peers, with the support and guidance of nurturing and kind teachers in a positive and happy environment. Families are encouraged to participate in various ways and feedback is always welcomed.
