Who We Are

The Community Assistance Center (CAC) has filled a vital role in the communities of Sandy Springs and Dunwoody, Georgia since 1987. CAC was founded by area congregations seeking to establish an independent agency which could respond to requests for emergency assistance from neighbors in need. Since its inception CAC has been committed to providing basic services and preventing homelessness in this community. CAC progressively engages clients in working towards greater self-sufficiency.
