Who We Are
VISION
CSW Career Academy will is a premiere career education program where its unique student population will graduate from high school enrolled in higher education, prepared to successfully climb the hospitality career ladder in any are of their choosing.
ENROLLMENT
Current Student enrollment: 200
CSW Career Academy is based in the Loop (corner of Lake & Wabash), providing job opportunities for students, referrals and counseling services for students and families.
PROGRAM
The CSW Career Academy is designed for students 16 to 21 years of age who are at-risk of academic failure with at least 10 credits earned towards their high school diploma and have an interest in the Culinary Arts. The course offerings which meet graduation requirements for the Chicago Public Schools (CPS) are:

Day School (8:00 a.m. - 2:07 p.m.) | Evening School (2:09 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.)
Post Secondary Enrollment:
Students selected for enrollment in CSW Career Academy will have the option of attending either day or evening in school programs while dual enrolled in a post secondary program with
CREDIT RECOVERY
CSW Career Academy provides students the opportunity to participate in a credit recovery program via a distance learning program. CSW has allocated specific periods to meet the needs of all students participating in credit recovery via distance learning. On-site staff collaborate with distance learning faculty and staff to assist students with their questions. progress and success in the assigned courses.
SUPPORT SERVICES
CSW Career Academy, by retrieving students who have experienced an interruption in their educational program in the traditional high school setting, will provide realistic educational guidelines with academic rigor that are immediately relevant, challenging and customized to the differentiated needs of the student. The following support services will be provided to assist the student in transitioning into the academic rigor of dual enrollment in CSW Career Academy and Kennedy King College.
