DePaul
Rochester, New York
Our Mission
DePaul is a progressive, private not-for-profit organization committed to providing quality senior living residential services; mental health residential and treatment programs; addiction prevention and support programs, vocational programs and affordable housing.
Who We Are
DePaul was founded in Rochester, New York in 1958. Today, DePaul provides services in 19 counties across three states and serves nearly 5,000 individuals each year.
We are the caregivers, the supporters, and the volunteers who will always believe that all people are entitled to respect, dignity, and the highest quality care. We are tens of thousands of people, from the very young to the very old, who have passed through the doors of DePaul's many homes and programs over the past 50 plus years seeking help... the person with mental illness working toward recovery; the adult child who is concerned about their elderly parent living alone; the troubled problem gambler trying to break the cycle of addiction. All have sought assistance at DePaul and found opportunity, support and hope.
Over the years, we've seen people change, needs change and communities change. To meet the new realities and challenges, DePaul also changed and grown in order to have an impact where help was needed most. A willingness to evolve, coupled with a vision for the future, allowed DePaul to chart a course that promoted long-term growth, diversification and opportunity for those in our care.
