FR BERNARD YOUTH CENTER INC

Fr. Bernard is an independent Catholic Lay Ministry dedicated to assisting over 3500 youth in a given year as they embark on a time of spiritual reflection and journey. A place where miracles are possible and where countless conversion stories abound. Fr. Bernard Youth Center provides a time away from cell phones and other technologies to enter into silence and focus on strengthening relationships, with Christ, with others and learning how to keep Christ with us in our daily lives. Built originally as Mount Angel College and later Colegio Cesar Chavez, Fr. Bernard Youth Center currently consists of a conference and meeting center complete with large and small gathering areas and a world-class chapel that is intimate, inviting and incredibly peaceful. Amenities include projection equipment, sound equipment, indoor and outdoor activities and games, a Sacristy for visiting clergy, a separate retreat house and dormitory able to host up to 100 guests for overnight visits. Fr, Bernard Youth Center celebrates its 10th Anniversary in January, 2016 and has hosted over 20,000 on retreat in its fledgling years! this is a tribute to a dedicated staff and all volunteer Board of Directors, but moreover, to a base of prayerful and financial supporters, benefactors like you who make it all possible!
