Our Mission

Fruited Plains was established in 2005. We began by planting fruit trees at churches on Mt. Elgon, Kenya. Mt. Elgon is an expansive mountain range reaching an elevation of 11,000 feet. It is quite rural and the land is fertile.

Who We Are

Fruited Plains was established in 2005. We began simply by planting fruit trees, which quickly turned into a sustainable maize project that assisted thousands of families in over-coming starvation. We are now helping the people of Mt. Elgon come out of poverty and establish thriving families and communities.
