Our Mission

Goodcity is committed to identifying, starting and growing social entrepreneurs who are making a difference in under-resourced communities in the Chicago area. We work with both nonprofit organizations and for-profit organizations who promote self-sufficiency, hope and purpose in the communities they are a part of.

Who We Are

We believe that every person is endowed with special skills and potential to make a difference in this world. Goodcity-supported programs seek to unlock and develop that potential. From almost 30 years of experience, Goodcity has found that community-based entrepreneurs are best able to identify community needs and propose effective programs designed to meet those needs. Working with community-based entrepreneurs, we define measurable objectives for all of our programs and then regularly benchmark them against these objectives.
