Our Mission

Hearing Health Foundation (HHF)'s mission is to prevent and cure hearing loss and tinnitus through groundbreaking research and to promote hearing health. We envision a world where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy life without hearing loss and tinnitus.

Who We Are

Hearing Health Foundation (HHF) is the largest non-profit funder of hearing research in the United States. Since 1958, HHF has given away millions of dollars to hearing and balance research, including work that led to cochlear implant technology. Chief among HHF's programs is the Hearing Restoration Project (HRP), an international consortium of scientists working collaboratively to identify a permanent cure for hearing loss and tinnitus. HHF also publishes Hearing Health magazine, a free consumer resource on hearing loss and related technology, research, and products. HHF is committed to ensuring all gifts support our mission in the most resourceful ways. HHF's responsible and effective donor stewardship practices have been commended by Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance, Consumer Reports, Charity Navigator, CharityWatch, and GuideStar.
