HEART teaches young people about human, animal, and environmental issues and empowers them to create a more compassionate and sustainable world.

Who We Are

HEART is a full service non-profit humane education provider based in New York with offices in Chicago, Indianapolis and Portland, Oregon. We offer direct student service programs for K-12 in various venues in school and out of school,. We also conduct professional development workshops in humane education, develop resources for educators, and engage in advocacy efforts to raise awareness of the critical need for humane education.
