Indian Creek Foundation

Founded in 1975, Indian Creek Foundation's mission is to provide opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities to live in and enrich the community throughout their lives. Through three divisions offering residential and community based, vocational, and behavioral health services; the Foundation continues to grow and meet the changing needs of the surrounding community. Behavioral Health Services Indian Creek Foundation's Behavioral Health Services division provides support to children and adults who have an intellectual or developmental disability. Specialized services are also available for individuals with as Autism Spectrum Disorder or with a dual diagnosis of an intellectual or developmental disability and a mental health challenge. Residential and Community Based Services A continuum of individualized services are offered to support people in exploring their place in the community. Twenty-four a day care is provided in homes throughout the area. Services include medication management and administration, transportation, personal care, goal-setting and engagement in community activities. This division also provides long and short-term supports to children and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities, who live with their families and in the community. Services are designed to promote independence, to provide training and assistance to family members and to create connections to services within the community. Vocational Services Vocational training, employment and day program options are provided for adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Residents of Indian Creek Foundation and other adults in the community are offered a variety of support options.
