INTERNATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR HOSPICE AND PALLIATIVE CARE INC

IAHPC is an organization dedicated to the development and the improvement of palliative care worldwide. It promotes the relief of unnecessary pain and suffering by advocating availability of adequate treatment, including access to potent analgesics and the inclusion of pain and palliative care in the public health agenda. IAHPC works with existing associations and agencies as well as individuals, to improve communications and access to resources and foster opportunities in education and training around the globe. The organizations supports projects and programs in Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and Latin America through the identification and selection of programs and individuals at the grass root level with the capacity to have an impact in their communities.
