Junior Blind

Founded in 1953, Junior Blind's mission is to help children, youth and adults reach their greatest potential. We empower individuals with vision loss and other physical, cognitive and emotional challenges through our comprehensive range of early intervention, education, recreation, mental health and rehabilitation programs. As we have done since our founding, we continue to offer all of our direct services at no cost to our students and families. This has never been more important than it is today, when nearly 90 percent of those we serve are low-income. For all these individuals, Junior Blind is the only place in California able to provide the highly individualized support that they need to thrive.
