Macon County Sheltered Workshop d/b/a Macon Diversified Industries, Inc

As a nonprofit extended employment facility we receive less than 10% of our funding from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education so we must be on top of our game as a small business to provide for wages and daily operational expenses. We must also have the support of our community and other organizations as well. We enjoy the support found in our relationships with area businesses, other nonprofit organizations and area residents. Without this support, MDI becomes incapable of operation. At MDI we believe that every citizen has the right to choose their own career path and we do our best to ensure than our employees are learning valuable work, social and life skills which will help them to be a success; no matter where their career path may lead!
