MARTIN COUNTY AGRICULTURAL FAIR ASSOCIATION INC
Stuart, Florida
Our Mission
The Martin County Fair Association, Inc. is the largest single event held in Martin County, drawing over 70,000 people from across the Treasure Coast.
Who We Are
The Martin County Fair was the brainchild of Levi Johnson, Martin County's University of Florida Extension Office Agent. The fairgrounds was originally the home of mini-car racing, and had an oval racetrack where the Midway now sits.
In 1959, Levi Johnson got together with Ed Higbee, Jim Foster , and Pat DiMinico, and started up a small carnival to go with the races. Soon after, they introduced farm animals and other components that typically make up a traditional "fair". We've been here ever since, providing Family Friendly entertainment and activities.
Some of the better known entertainers that have crossed our stage include Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Brad Paisley, Tyler Farr, and Florida Georgia Line.
