Prevent Child Abuse America

Prevent Child Abuse America was founded in 1972 and has engaged in work that is innovative and forward-thinking, as we look towards creating healthier, and happier, futures for children, their families and the country as whole. To do this, we work with a 50 state chapter network, which allows for our mission to reach communities across the United States. We also work with the Healthy Families America network. Healthy Families America is a voluntary family support program that provides education and support to new parents and families. With over 620 sites, Healthy Families America is able to reach over 90,000 families each year. Recently, our focus has grown to include bullying, or peer-to-peer, prevention as well as the prevention of child sexual abuse.
