Our Mission

Project Vietnam is a non-profit organization working since 1996 to help create sustainable pediatric healthcare in Vietnam through medical missions to needy areas of poor access, free surgeries for children with eye and orofacial defects, and training for healthcare staff and caregivers.

Who We Are

Founded in 1996 as a project of the Orange county chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Project Vietnam became an independent organization, all-volunteer organization. It offers 3 trips annually and has ongoing training initiative in Vietnam. We welcome health and non-health volunteers to join us and improve the lives of children and needy people in Vietnam. We collaborate with other organizations towards an efficient network benefiting children.
