Pursue Scholars

Founded in 2007, Pursue Scholars is investing in the next generation of urban leaders. We identify, select, train, and support young people who have a heart for making an impact on their community. Our scholars have an 85% persistence rate, well above the national average. We have seen 67% of our alumni return to work and serve in the city of Chicago. Our vision is to see our alumni living and serving in neighborhoods throughout the city and being leaders in community transformation.
