Our Mission
REACH of Haywood County, Inc. serves victims of domestic violence and sexual assault through advocacy, community outreach and prevention education to empower individuals to live a self-sufficient life free of violence.
Who We Are
Since 1982, REACH of Haywood County, Inc. has offered assistance to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse. A non-profit organization, REACH was started by a group of concerned citizens who saw a need for such an agency in Haywood County. Seven years later, in REACH opened the REACH House to provide emergency shelter to survivors and their families. Today, REACH remains the primary agency in the county that provides crisis intervention services to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault.
