Dr. Paul Hardy is considered to be an expert in the field of addiction recovery with his unique and specialized intervention methods that reveal how personal beliefs affect behavior. Dr. Paul is a Board Certified Pastoral Counselor and Certified Addictions Counselor with the Intervention Institute. We hold weekly meetings at the Life Center on Centerville Turnpike and Kempsville Rd. (Tuesday and Thursday nights).Thousands of people have been helped through the safe, small group atmosphere we provide. We began with two couples and in no time at all were working with over 40 people. Today we have programs with a combined attendance of 200 people meeting on a weekly basis. For over TWENTY years Dr. Paul Hardy has championed for those who struggle with addictions and compulsive behaviors, and is considered an expert in the field of addiction recovery with his unique and specialized intervention methods that reveal how personal beliefs affect behavior. Dr. Paul is certified in Critical Incident Stress Management and Drug and Alcohol Intervention. He volunteered as a Virginia Beach Police Department Chaplain for nine years. Dr. Hardy serves to help people exposed to trauma. He provides relapse prevention training for men coming out of the prison system and for the homeless. We hold weekly meetings at the Life Center on Centerville Turnpike and Kempsville Rd. (Tuesday and Thursday nights).
