To rescue food that would otherwise be wasted to feed the hungry through the use of technology.
Who We Are
Rescuing Leftover Cuisine, Inc. (henceforth “RLC”) was incorporated in New York and is a 501(c)3 organization that uses technology to help companies and individuals reduce food waste by bringing excess cuisine to homeless shelters. RLC has thus far received funding totaling $668,594 to date to provide $2.9 million of meals for the hungry. The Robin Hood Foundation contributed $40K to incubate RLC, and RLC has since raised $40K from the Lower Manhattan Community Church, $20K from KIND Snacks Foundation, $10K from Morgan Stanley, and contributions totaling $50K from the PIMCO Foundation, John J. Moller Foundation, Clif Bar Family Foundation, and the BAND Foundation. Over $300K in contributions have come from individuals.
