The Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation provides funds so cancer patients can experience the immediate benefit of complementary therapies to help alleviate the side effects caused by radiation and chemotherapy.
Who We Are
The mission of the Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation is to provide cancer patients, during their treatment period, with financial assistance for complementary healing services.
Though there are many hundreds of healing therapies and wonderful treatment options, the Sandra J. Wing Healing Therapies Foundation focuses on the 5 therapies that its Founder experienced during her cancer journey. They are: Acupuncture, Acupressure, Therapeutic Massage, and Mindfulness Techniques of Guided/Visual Imagery, and Deep Breathing Meditation. These have been proven to be therapeutically beneficial in many scientific studies. These healing therapies can provide relief for neuropathy, anxiety, stress, aches, fatigue, nausea and pain.
The foundation is established for cancer patients in the Tri-Valley region of the San Francisco Bay Area, CA.
