Silicon Valley FACES

San Jose, California

Our Mission

FACES provides social-emotional learning programs that inspire students to be empathetic community leaders by eradicating prejudice, bullying and bystander behavior. Camp Everytown is a 4-day camp that works with high school students to create a campus culture of empathy, respect and inclusion. Camp Common Ground works with incoming high and middle school students to acclimate them to their new school and build skills to thrive in their new environment. Camp Connections works with K-5 students to promote problem-solving and anti-bullying skills.

Who We Are

History: Silicon Valley FACES was founded in 1965 as a regional office of the National Conference of Christians and Jews. The national organization later changed its name to the National Conference for Community and Justice (NCC J). When the NCC J restructured in 2005, FACES became a separate 501(c)(3) known as the Silicon Valley Conference for Community and Justice. In 2008, FACES' Board of Directors changed the name to Silicon Valley FACES. For 50 years, FACES has been a pioneer in developing social emotional and leadership skills in youth in the South Bay and Peninsula regions.
