Our Mission

Our mission is to educate and engage the community to prevent domestic (US-based) commercial sexual exploitation and to provide comprehensive, restorative care to survivors. Our vision is to create an engaged and compassionate community where sexual exploitation is not tolerated, human rights and dignity are valued, and the lives of both victims and perpetrators are being restored through God-centered relationships.

Who We Are

We are an organization that operates out of central Lake County, IL and primarily serves our county and the Chicagoland area; however, we are available to speak wherever invited and will receive residential program clients from anywhere in the US. We are faith-based; however, our value is "faith-based, free to choose" meaning that we welcome clients and volunteers of any belief system. We have three main programs: Community Engagement, Prevention/Protection, and Restorative Services. We were founded in 2014 and are led by 40 very dedicated, sacrificial, mostly long-term volunteers. Our goals for 2019 are to 1) activate our first residential recovery program for trafficked moms and their children, which includes hiring our first paid staff; 2) implement our jail outreach; 3) continue our prevention work around pornography and teaching all to value the spirit, soul, and body of everyone; and 4) roll out and market our completed video series targeted toward church leaders to help them navigate our sexualized culture.
