TCAC's ROSS (Resident Opportunities for Self Sufficiency) CORE (Community Organization for Resident Empowerment) Program Grant, provides in depth training to public housing residents on multiple topics. The Resident Initiatives program in cooperation with two of our local communities public housing (Morristown Housing Authority and Newport Housing Authority) resident services provides educational and job opportunities, employment skills training, assistance with the sick, shut-in, frail and elderly. Resident Initiatives also provides resources to obtain medical assistance and/or equipment, transportation, financial and counseling resources. In addition, educational tools and resources for children and youth to further their knowledge and/or to meet provisional needs in fulfilling their life skills, personal, and educational goals.
