The GVN Foundation

Founded Colin Salisbury and Courtney Montague in 2005, the GVN Foundation began with the goal of providing a platform for GVN change makers to continue their support for their project overseas. We use our collective experience in development, fundraising, advocacy, film making and mentorship to equip individuals and communities around the world to advocate and fundraise for the projects we wholeheartedly believe in. Since 2005, we have granted over US$2 million in support of projects in nutrition, education, income generation and sustainability around Africa, Asia, and the Americas. We're proud to be a registered 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit in the United States of America. We maintain Special Consultative Status with the United Nations Economic and Social Council, and we've won three (yes, three!) consecutive Top-Rated Non-Profit Awards through Great Non-Profits in 2012, 2013 and 2014. GVN Foundation believes that everyone has the right, and the responsibility, to play a part in creating a better, stronger future and ending poverty. We aim to provide exciting and varied ways to get involved in the work our partners are doing, no matter where you are or what your skillset.
