The Significant Marriage

In 2004, Dave and Mary Gothi founded Sunshine Ministries in order to fund and pursue the passions God had laid upon their hearts. Under this umbrella they founded an orphanage ministry and a marriage ministry. Sunshine Kids International works with St. Catherine's of Siena Home and School for Destitute Children in Mumbai, India. Rescued off the streets and slums, children are taken at the age of 4 and educated through trade school or college until they are launched into a career. Music, art and dance therapy are part of a counseling program which helps the children heal. Dave and Mary's desire is that every child would discover God's purpose for them! The Significant Marriage was created after Dave and Mary spent 10 years working with couples in crisis. They had also found that serving God together with Sunshine Kids International had so bonded their own relationship, they wanted to help other couples do the same. They created TSM to help couples protect their marriage, but with a deeper intent to challenge couples that God has a unique purpose just for them to change the world for Him. Couples leave with a written plan of the steps they are going to take to grow their marriage as well as how they are going to serve God with their lives. The Significant Marriage is active in Europe, India, Australia, the U.S and the Caribbean.
