The Tiny Tim Center, Inc. DBA TLC Learning Center
Longmont, Colorado
Our Mission
TLC is a fully inclusive preschool serving children eight weeks to six years old, with onsite pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
Who We Are
TLC Learning Center was founded in 1956 as The Tiny Tim Cerebral Palsy Center by Longmont parents to
create a nurturing space within the community for children with special needs. The name was later changed
to The Tiny Tim Center to encompass children with a wider range of disabilities. Later, the Center opened its
doors wider to include typical developing children, creating a fully inclusive early learning environment. The
school has grown from the children of a few families to five preschool classrooms, an infant nursery, and two
toddler classrooms. A Therapeutic Services program was added in 1997 to help children struggling with the
hurdles of a developmental delay or disability to achieve their goals and full potential. In 2014, The Tiny Tim
Center changed it's DBA name to TLC Learning Center to help better market our mission as a fully inclusive
early learning center, rather than a school that only serves children with special needs. In 2014 we also
renovated several classrooms to serve infants and toddlers, expanding our ages served to as early as eight
weeks old.
