Timmy Global Health

Although we are based in Indianapolis, our reach is both local and global. We currently manage 10 project sites in 5 developing countries (Ecuador, Guatemala, Nigeria, the Dominican Republic, and El Salvador) and have student chapters at more than 50 universities and high schools throughout the US. What started in a hospital closet in Indianapolis has matured into a nation-wide non-profit that provides direct medical services to low-income populations around the world, while also building the capacity of partner organizations and empowering student volunteers to lead the fight for global health equity. Since 1997, the incredible generosity of Timmy's network has helped the organization treat thousands of patients, finance hundreds of surgeries at our local partner organizations, cover the medical school costs of future developing world doctors, assist with the financing and construction of hospitals and medical clinics, invest in public health initiatives and help instill the value and importance of humanitarianism in thousands of US volunteers and the next generation of US healthcare professionals. All in the name of one common vision: the people we serve have the promise of health futures, and regardless of who they are, what resources they have, or where they live, they all should have access to quality healthcare.
