Valley Rescue Mission programs and those served annually include: 1. Emergency shelters for men and for women and children. (25,000) 2. Nine month addiction recovery and aftercare programs for men and for women. (60) 3. Summer camps for underprivileged children. (400) 4. River Program which seeks out the unsheltered homeless and offers food, medical supplies, and other basic necessities (1300) 5. Daily Meal program serving daily, hot meals to those who are homeless, people who don't have the ability or means to cook for themselves, and the needy. (52,000) 6. Family Services provides food bags, clothing, household goods, utility assistance, and counseling for those living in poverty. (7,000) 7. Retail Centers which provide a revenue stream for the ministry and clothing assistance for those in need. (39,000 donations generating app. $1,000,000 sales and $73,000 clothing and household goods assistance for all ministries) 8. Holiday programs including Thanksgiving and Christmas meals served at our facilities and delivered to low income shut-ins and the elderly and toy distribution to underprivileged children (4400)
