AWC empowers women to thrive by offering holistic care through free and confidential services. These services include pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, one-on-one mentoring, and a single mom's support group. Educational classes include GED completion course, English as a Second Language, Parenting Class, and Pregnancy Education. City Rescue Mission (CRM) was founded in 1946 to help homeless men in the Jacksonville area. Since its inception, CRM has evolved into a recovery program helping needy men, women and children from multiple counties in Northeast Florida, through meeting the basic needs of the homeless to providing a long-term residential rehabilitation program that address life controlling issues (drugs, alcohol, etc.) and workforce development and educational programs. Mid-South Spay & Neuter Services is a 501(c)3 non-profit clinic dedicated to reducing pet overpopulation and high euthanasia rates by offering affordable spay and neuter surgeries to the public. The clinic has operated since 2005 and has performed over 35,000 spay and neuter procedures and counting. In addition, the clinic offers age-appropriate pet vaccinations and micro-chipping, which are done at time of surgery.
