Abaana Community Outreach Africa (ACO-Africa) a non-profit organisation based in Uganda, committed to breaking the cycle of poverty by providing loving support and care to vulnerable individuals; laying an emphasis on education, health, psychosocial care, economic empowerment, nutrition, human and environmental rights to the poorest and most vulnerable people— especially children and women.

Who We Are

ACO-Africa was founded in 2009 as community based organisation in Lwengo District Later renovated into non-government organisation with the purpose of breaking the cycle of poverty laying emphasis on education, health, psychosocial care, economic empowerment, nutrition and human rights to the poorest and most vulnerable people— especially children and women. ACO Africa is also fully registered with the Ministry of Internal Affairs, with a registration number S.5914/11486, with a main office based in Kyebando-Nssoba Zone, Kampala-Gayaza Road, off Kyebando-Ring Road. ACO-Africa has outreach offices in its areas of operation including; Lwengo, Mityana and Wakiso district in central Uganda. Abaana Community Outreach Africa (ACO Africa) endeavors to ensure that children and other vulnerable people are made aware of their rights and able to reach their full potential. ACO Africa is currently reaching out to over 350 vulnerable children and women from the districts of; Masaka-Lwengo, Wakiso and Mityana in Uganda.
