Our Mission

Hope Grafted In is a US non-profit ministry whose mission is to speak up for those that cannot speak for themselves. We desire to engage the followers of Jesus in the orphan care movement by providing emergency relief aid, sustainable project development, and sponsorship facilitation, all in the context of real relationship.

Who We Are

In 2010, Gabe and Shelley Brown and their family adopted twin baby girls. One of their daughters was born with Congenital Heart Disease and passed away at 7 months old. During the time of grieving this loss, Shelley took her first trip to Uganda and Kenya and found healing. As Shelley built relationships with people in Uganda and Kenya, God brought beauty from ashes and the dream of Hope Grafted In began. Our organization has always been about relationship. We are blessed to work with Ugandan and Kenyan Christ-followers who we are called to support in their work and honored to call friends.
