Tiger Pause Youth Ministry

Geneva College, established in 1848, is located in the College Hill neighborhood on the north side of Beaver Falls. Tiger Pause was birthed by a group of Geneva students and faculty in 1988 and the college continues to be heavily involved in Tiger Pause programs and activities. Each week, Geneva students serve as tutors at three after-school program sites. From our humble beginning of one after-school drop-in center, Tiger Pause has grown to six after-school program sites, a 6-week summer camp program, work programs for high school age boys and girls, as well as two viable businesses in downtown Beaver Falls - a used furniture store and cafe. Tiger Pause is well connected in the community having established relationships with public and private agencies such as Children & Youth Services, Community Development, and the Housing Authority as well as many churches and community groups.
