City Rescue Mission
City Rescue Mission (CRM) was founded in 1946 to help homeless men in the Jacksonville area. Since its inception, CRM has evolved into a recovery program helping needy men, women and children from multiple counties in Northeast Florida, through meeting the basic needs of the homeless to providing a long-term residential rehabilitation program that address life controlling issues (drugs, alcohol, etc.) and workforce development and educational programs. Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys is a non-profit Christian housing ministry founded on the belief that every man, woman and child deserves a safe, decent and affordable home to call their own. Habitat Middle Keys began in 1991 and is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God's love into action by building homes, communities and hope. We are a volunteer based locally run affiliate dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide. All are welcome and Habitat for Humanity of the Middle Keys has an open-door policy: All who believe that everyone needs a decent, affordable place to live are welcome to help with the work, regardless of race, religion, age, gender, political views, or any of the other distinctions that too often divide people.
