Center for Child Counseling
The Center for Child Counseling provides mental health services (including prevention and early intervention) to children and families at local childcare centers, in the home, and in our Child and Family Center through Play Therapy, Family Counseling, and Filial Therapy techniques. The center also provides training for mental health professionals locally through workshops, internships, and training opportunities and has training available online for caregivers anywhere in the world.

The Museum was founded as the Hellenic Museum and Cultural Center in 1983. Nine years later, the HMCC opened its first facility on Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago. Then, in July 2004, the Museum moved to a new location at 801 South Adams Street in Chicago’s Greektown. In 2009, the Museum re-branded itself the National Hellenic Museum with a new logo incorporating the Greek key design and a new mission statement: “Connecting generations through Greek history, culture, and art.”

The home is licensed through the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and is also Title IV-E approved. Byrd's also contracts with the Texas Juvenile Justice Department and Immigration and Customs Enforcement to provide services for the children in need of behavioral modification and housing.
