Christ In Action, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded in 1982 by Dr. Denny & Sandy Nissley, has grown into an international ministry touching lives around the world. In the late 90’s the focus shifted from street ministry to disaster relief, ministering to those in need as Jesus did (Matthew 25:40). Today with a volunteer base of thousands, and a million dollars of equipment CIA is Bringing Hope to America’s Families and beyond.

The Grove City Food Pantry probably got started in the late 1980's or early 1990's. At some point the Grove City Ministerial Association took responsibility for finding a host church to house the pantry and find a volunteer director. The directorship proved to be a bigger job than one person could handle and burn out was common.

CROSSROADS KIDS CLUB

Crossroads helps churches (and schools) understand and navigate the nuances of a proper separation of church and state. The Constitution does not permit the state to establish or endorse any particular faith or religious viewpoint, but it does require the state to remain “viewpoint neutral.” In addition to Constitutional issues, Crossroads helps churches to obtain and understand local policies and procedures related to the use of space by community groups.

Schools for the Children of the World is an international non-profit organization that works with local communities in developing countries to design and build schools for children in need. SCW has been working extensively in Honduras for over 15 years and also has projects underway in Haiti, Nigeria, and Liberia. SCW’s main objectives are to provide better educational opportunities through high-quality school facilities and to empower community members to improve their children’s futures.

Reach Out Morongo Basin

Reach Out is an amazing group of community volunteers who are working to make the lives of our Senior Citizens and Disabled in the Morongo Basin better! With our Volunteer Caregiving Program we provide reassuring visits and phone calls, help with minor home repairs and yard work, do light shopping and errands, personal business assistance and provide transportation to medical appointments in the Morongo Basin as well as the San Bernardino and Coachella Valley areas.
