An out-of-school-time site in the heart of unincorporated East Los Angeles, we serve over 2,000 youth annually plus another 2,000 through our non-profit partnerships. Our youth age range is 5 through 18. We do what others said could not be done, 100% of our teens achieve HS graduation in a community where 34% of adults have a HS diploma. Through our unique initiative, M.E.N.T.O.R. we focus on an individualized action plan for each child to fill the gaps by supporting them in their areas of need. We promote their social, educational, health, character development and vocational guidance. Davis Community Meals

Davis Community Meals (DCM) is a non-profit, non-denominational organization whose mission is to provide low-income and homeless individuals and families with housing, food, and human services to help them rebuild their lives. DCM was created in 1990 by the initiative of members of the Episcopal Church of St. Martin in Davis and other religious and civic organizations as well as independent supporters. DCM began operations in February 1991 when our first Tuesday evening meal was served. Currently, we are serving three meals per week, operating a resource center, a street outreach program, providing emergency shelter to individuals, transitional housing programs for individuals and families and permanent supportive housing at Cesar Chavez Plaza. Our membership exceeds 2,500 individuals and over 100 organizations who lend their support through volunteer service, financial and in-kind contributions.
