Tabby Town-FRIENDS FOR FELINES INC
Tabby Town is a volunteer-driven cat and kitten rescue and adoption center in Western New York. We are a not-for-profit organization; we rely totally on our donors and patrons, local business and corporate support, gifts, grant awards and the generosity of our community to continue our mission. As of October 2015, we have already found forever homes for over 4,300 cats and kittens in our area who may otherwise be homeless or euthanized!

We are a scholarship granting organization that offers full education support to 360 students living in the Artibonite Valley, Haiti (60 miles north of Port-au-Prince). Students range from kindergarten to university bachelor degree study and technical school certificate study. The support includes full tuition payment (schools are not free in Haiti), uniforms, books, and exam fees. Without this support our students would not be able to attend school. We are in the process of building an Education Center that will support and work with the area schools by offering tutoring and teacher training.

Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Morris Habitat for Humanity builds and rehabilitates houses in partnership with families in need. Habitat houses are affordable because there is no profit included in the sale price and no interest is charged on the mortgage. The family’s monthly mortgage payments go into a revolving fund which is used to build more houses.
