These include a Chicago location that focuses on foster care, early childhood education and family counseling, and group homes in Naperville, Downers Grove, Lisle and Wheaton that house previously abused or neglected children. Its Household Stabilization Ministry’s hospitality removes barriers in seeking help. Low-income, under-resourced, food-insecure households receive vital stabilization services including nutrient-dense food; household and hygiene items; referrals; and on-site application for critical supports including SNAP (food stamps), Medicaid and Earned Income Tax Credit.
